Hyde Park Brewery was founded in 1876 and was located in the Hyde Park neighborhood in North St.Louis. It shut down during Prohibition, but luckily the beer began flowing again when it was legal to do so. Hyde Park has the distinction of being the first brewery to sponsor a television program.The brewery closed in 1957.
