The Palace of Poison was a restaurant like no other. Where else could you get a Murder Burger, a Vampires Kiss or Witches Brew plus a Death Certificate at the end of your meal? Located in South St. Louis County, it was the place for cruising in the 50’s and 60’s. You couldn’t miss this place due to the huge neon sign of a skull and crossbones on its roof. Due to competition, the restaurant was sold and eventually torn down.
