The Saints Roller Rink was a popular designation for St. Louis youth for decades. Situated on Warson Road in Olivette, over the years Saints featured not just skating, but an arcade, a dance room and even a recording studio. The roller rink was one of the centers of the break dancing movement in St. Louis. People would come to learn new moves while listening to up-and-coming DJs and performers. While young people loved Saints, the facility was sometimes in conflict with nearby neighbors and city officials and Saints Roller Rink skated into the history books in the early 2000s.
