Enco was a retail brand of Humble Oil (now ExxonMobil) and was used in certain parts of the US where its cousin Esso was not allowed to be sold. Promotional materials at the time proclaimed that Enco stood for Energy Company. Both Esso and Enco had the same logos and advertising slogans. Two famous slogans were, “ Happy Motoring!” and “Put a tiger in your tank.”
