Maywood Beach was a beloved retreat for families seeking relaxation and fun in the sun since 1931. This popular hotspot was located in Olive Branch, Mississippi, just across the state line from Memphis. Besides relaxing on the sand imported from Destin, Florida, you could also swim at the pool, play mini golf and eat at the snack bar.
Sadly, it closed in 2003 and was turned into a private residential development.
