If you were in Peoria in the late '70s or early '80s and you wanted to dance, there was really only one answer: Stage 2 Dance Club.

Stage 2 was the kind of place that defined a generation of Friday nights. The music was loud, the crowd was electric, and nobody left early. Whether you were a regular or just passing through, Stage 2 had a way of making you feel like you were exactly where you were supposed to be.

It's gone now, like so many of the great ones. But the memory lives on — and so does the shirt.
