Midway Airlines flew out of the Chicago Midway Airport (now Midway International) starting in 1979. It was known for its low fares, friendly and attentive service and easier connections. Your in-flight items included chocolate wafer mints and hot towels. This airline had a fleet size of 96 and flew to 40 locations. Sadly, Midway Airlines went bankrupt in 1991.
