The Aladdin Hotel & Casino was a landmark on the Las Vegas Strip, known for its Arabian Nights theme and rich entertainment history. Originally opened in 1962 as the Tallyho Hotel, it was rebranded as the Aladdin in 1966 after a $3 million renovation. The resort gained fame as the site of Elvis and Priscilla Presley's secret wedding on May 1, 1967, held in a private suite to avoid media attention . Despite undergoing several ownership changes and renovations, the original Aladdin closed in 1997 and was demolished in 1998 to make way for a new resort.
