Beef Corral was a Cleveland classic that rode into town in 1966, courtesy of former Browns players Ed and Dick Modzelewski. With its distinctive A-frame buildings, bold bull logo, and western flair, it quickly became a favorite for roast beef sandwiches, corned beef on rye, and the legendary Giant Buckaroo Cheeseburger. At its peak in the 1970s, the chain had a dozen locations across Northeast Ohio. Fans still recall the cozy cowboy-themed interiors, signature dairy slaw, and the thrill of spotting one of the Modzelewski brothers behind the counter. Though the last sandwich was served by the '80s, the Beef Corral brand still rustles up warm memories for hungry Clevelanders.
