The Peaches were a women’s pro baseball team from Rockford, Illinois, active between 1943 and 1954. As part of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League, they were one of just two teams (alongside the South Bend Blue Sox) to compete every season. Their home turf was Beyer Stadium on 15th Avenue. This legendary squad snagged league titles in 1945, 1948, 1949, and 1950—definitely a team to cheer for!
