The Cincinnati Kids were one of the original teams of the Major Indoor Soccer League, blazing a path through the 1978–79 season at Riverfront Coliseum. Part-owned by Cincinnati Reds legend Pete Rose, the Kids delivered an unforgettable inaugural campaign with a fierce 16–8 record and a playoff run that proved MISL was here to stay—even as they fell to the unstoppable New York Arrows in the chase for glory.
