Club Pop House (The Pop House) was a private teenage social and dance club located in downtown Beloit. It was in operation from 1946-1973. Their lunch counter was known for the signature sandwiches like the Smiley Special. On the weekends there was live music which showcased regional and major musical acts. With a decline in business, Pop House closed after 27 years of continuous operation.
