The Colorado Rangers were a minor-league hockey team that played in Denver during the 1987–88 season as members of the International Hockey League. They were affiliated with the New York Rangers and played their home games at the Denver Coliseum. The team posted a 44–35–3 record but lost in the IHL semifinals. The following season, the team was renamed the Denver Rangers before moving to Phoenix in 1989.
