For more than 100 years, generations of Milwaukeans headed out to the countryside and the shores of Little Muskego Lake. There, the Muskego Beach Amusement Park entertained young and old alike with rides, games and musical performances. In 1968, the park re-opened under the new name DandiLion Park and new attractions were added including the Tail Spin roller coaster. Sadly, when the Great America amusement park opened near Chicago, attendance at DandiLion Park suffered and the park closed in 1977.
