Edgewater Park was a 20 acre amusement park built in 1927. It became one of Detroit’s most popular recreation spots. Attractions at Edgewater included a wooden roller coaster called “Wild Beast” and 110 foot Ferris Wheel. Competition from rivals Bob-Lo Island and Cedar Point caused Edgewater Park to close in 1981.

Remember Edgewater Park well. Bought the shirt to wear to a get together with others that grew up in the neighborhoods near the park. Excellent shirt. Much more color to it than shows in the pictures.
