Expo ’74 was an International Exposition that was held from May-November 1974 in Spokane, Washington. It was the first environmentally themed world’s fair. Most of the buildings were modular structures assembled on site. IMAX movie theater made its debut there. The fair was attended by 5.6 million people and was considered a success.
