Fort Dells was an amusement park in the Wisconsin Dells from 1959 until 1985 that was based on Disney’s popular Frontierland. This beloved attraction included rides, live shows, and costumed characters that roamed the park. Inside, Fort Dells was broken up into different areas, which included Adventureland and Frontierland, There was a working steam railroad, a stagecoach, a paddlewheel steamboat, and a suspension bridge. The most well known ride with the fantastic view was the Totem Tower Ride. The site of Fort Dells is now Fort Dells McDonald's.
