Gettelman Brewing Company was a brewery in Milwaukee that was in business from 1856 until 1961, when it was bought by Miller. Their famous beer, Milwaukee’s Best, is still marketed by Miller. Gettelman was the smallest of the “Big Five” breweries in the area. ( Schlitz, Pabst, Miller, and Blatz)
