This prominent discount department store chain was your one stop shop to find deals in clothing, footwear, toys, jewelry, electronics, furniture, and more. Besides their flagship store in downtown Chicago, you could find Goldblatt stores in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Wisconsin. With increasing competition from other discount retailers, Goldblatt’s closed all stores by 2000.
