The Grande Ballroom was an historic music venue in Detroit, Michigan. Originally a dance hall, the building was converted in 1966 into a location for rock music. The Grande was known for their unique psychedelic band posters. Influential musicians that played there include: MC5, the Stooges, Cream, the Who, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and the Velvet Underground. In 2018, the building was put on the US National Register for Historic Places.
