Hollywood Star Lanes was a vibrant 32-lane bowling alley located at 5227 Santa Monica Boulevard in Los Angeles, California. Opened in 1960, it quickly became a beloved local hangout, operating 24 hours a day and showcasing the eye-catching Googie architectural style that was popular at the time. The alley gained international fame as the primary setting for the cult classic film The Big Lebowski. Hollywood Star Lanes closed in 2002 after the Los Angeles Unified School District acquired the property.
