Imperial Lanes was an ultra-modern bowling center located in Memphis, Tennessee. When it opened in 1958, its impressive attributes included 48 bowling lanes, a sit-down restaurant, a childcare center and an in-house television studio. Imperial Lanes was so popular, it was open 24 hours a day. When it closed in 2009, it was the oldest bowling alley still in operation in Memphis. Fun Fact: Imperial Lanes hosted the first Professional Bowling Association championship in 1960.
