Java Lanes was a beloved bowling alley located at 3800 East Pacific Coast Highway in Long Beach, California. Opened in 1958, it showcased a striking A-frame roof and lava rock walls that embodied the Tiki and Googie styles popular at the time. Beyond its 32 bowling lanes, Java Lanes featured amenities like the East Indies Room, a cocktail lounge, coffee shop and dining and banquet rooms. Java Lanes was closed and demolished in 2004.
