Live Aid was an epic 1985 benefit concert happening at the same time in London and Philadelphia. Bob Geldof put it together to help fight famine in Ethiopia. It all kicked off with the charity hit "Do They Know It's Christmas?" released in 1984. Together, the event raised over $125 million to make a real difference.
