“World of Rivers”
Louisiana World Exposition was a World’s Fair held in New Orleans from May-November in 1984. The official mascot was Seymore D. Fair, a costumed white pelican. This fair was the only one to declare bankruptcy during its run, so it’s no mystery why there hasn’t been another World’s Fair in the U.S. since.
