Mabuhay Gardens was a former San Francisco nightclub that became a premier venue for punk rock and New Wave in the late 1970’s and early 1980’s. Some of the bands that played there included: Dead Kennedy’s, Black Flag, Iggy Pop, Devo, The Cramps and Butthole Surfers. Mabuhay Gardens closed in 1988.
