The Mayflower Restaurant was one of the oldest establishments in Loves Park, serving fine dining since the 1930's. The business went through many ownership changes throughout its time in operation. It closed in the late 1990's and The Hope and Anchor Restaurant now occupies the building. It is rumored that the place is haunted.
