The Michigan Stags were a short-lived professional hockey team in the World Hockey Association, playing during the 1974–75 season. Based in Detroit, they struggled to draw fans, despite featuring talented players and a fast-paced style of play. Financial difficulties plagued the franchise, forcing a mid-season move to Baltimore, where they became the Baltimore Blades.
