Mid-South Coliseum was a multi-purpose arena built in 1963. This arena held rock concerts, wrestling, hockey, indoor soccer, and basketball. Mid-South hosted Elvis and Beatles concerts and wrestling matches starring Jerry Lawler. At one time, the Memphis Tigers basketball team called Mid-South home. It was a sad day when this arena closed in 2006. Fun Fact: The final concert held at Mid-South Coliseum was All American Rejects.
