National Supermarket was a grocery chain located in both St. Louis and New Orleans. At its height, it was number two in the St. Louis area after acquiring some Kroger locations. Some fondly remembered slogans were, "The Underpricer" and "You're Important to Us". National was gone for good by 1999.
