Nita’s Hideaway was a beloved Tempe, Arizona music venue opened in 1975 by rodeo queen Nita Craddock, later becoming a central stop on the Valley’s indie-rock circuit. In the mid‑1990s, it thrived as a dive-bar sanctuary with underground flair, hosting local talents and touring acts. it ultimately closed in 2004 when the property was sold to build the Tempe Marketplace.
