Omni Coliseum was an indoor arena in Atlanta built in 1972 that was the home of the Hawks and the Flames. Its distinctive feature was the roof which has been described as an egg crate or a rusty waffle iron. Besides sports, the Omni was also Atlanta’s primary concert venue and artists that played there included Grateful Dead, Madonna, Elvis, Def Leppard and Paul McCartney. It was closed and demolished in 1997.

The Omni

Fast shipping and well made shirt. I went to The Omni several times as a kid. My parents had season tickets for the Flames and went to a few Hawks games. I saw my first 2 KISS concerts in 1977 and 1979 and my final show Queensryche and Suicidal Tendencies there. I flew home from California in 1991 before it was demolished.

Rock & Roll All Night!! Thanks for the memories.
