Penny Whistle Park was one of Dallas' first indoor amusement parks geared toward younger kids. The attractions included a merry-go-round, ladybug ride and a steam train. For generations, this place was a destination for parties. At its height, the park hosted 60-70 parties a week. Sadly, competition led to its closure in 1995.
