Back in the day, opening a beverage meant yanking off a metal tab and watching it disappear into the sand. Ermal Fraze invented this "pop top" convenience in 1959, but it came with a catch—those little rings ended up everywhere, creating litter and safety concerns. By the late 1970s, the pull-tab design gave way to the push-tab we know today. Rock this retro tee and celebrate a hilariously impractical piece of packaging history that we're glad we left behind.
