Radio Doctors was a legendary Milwaukee record store that became a destination for music lovers beginning in the 1930s. Its downtown location grew into one of the city’s largest record stores, offering an enormous selection of rock, R&B, jazz, blues, classical, and other music. By the late 1970s, Radio Doctors was reportedly the largest single-unit record store of its kind in the United States. The store closed in 1991, but it remains fondly remembered as an essential part of Milwaukee’s music history.
