The Rockford Peaches were a trailblazing women’s baseball team from Rockford, Illinois, playing between 1943 and 1954. Part of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League, they were one of only two teams to compete in every AAGPBL season, alongside the South Bend Blue Sox. Their home turf was Beyer Stadium on 15th Avenue. This legendary squad snagged league championships in 1945, 1948, 1949, and 1950—true champs on and off the field!
