Rustler Steak House was founded in 1963 by football player Joe Campanella. This steakhouse served your typical steakhouse chain food, which included steaks, potatoes, soups and salads. Gino’s Hamburgers bought it in 1971 and sold it to the Marriot Corporation in 1982. Marriott sold it again and eventually the remaining Rustler locations turned into Sizzlers.
