There was no place more iconic in the 1980’s than the video game arcade. Space Port was an arcade chain that was mostly found in local malls. These futuristic looking arcades had a space theme, which included emergency space hatches in the the ceiling and patches on the uniforms that looked like they came from NASA. Arcades became a thing of the past with the rise in popularity of home gaming systems.
