The eye-catching SS Admiral was a shiny, metallic steamship cruising the Mississippi from St. Louis. Debuting in 1940, this million-dollar marvel sported five decks and could hold 4,400 passengers. It quickly became a river favorite as families danced in the ballroom, played games, and enjoyed the passing views. In the 1980s, rising expenses turned the ship into a docked casino. Sadly, in 2011, this grand lady of the St. Louis waterfront was sold for scrap—but her fun spirit lives on with this retro sticker!
