Children in Wisconsin growing up in the 1970s are unique in all the world. They are the only kids who grew up with Ting Soda. The glass bottles filled with colorful sodas first showed up around 1970 and were sold in stores all over the state — from Madison to Eau Claire, from Stevens Point to Kenosha. An entire generation has sweet memories of ice cold bottles filled with Cherry, Orange, Lime, Blue Raspberry and many other flavors of Ting soda pop. The brand started to fade in the 1980s, but Ting held on in pockets in eastern Wisconsin until 2009.
