The Toronto Toros were a professional ice hockey team that competed in the World Hockey Association during the mid-1970s. Originally founded as the Ottawa Nationals in 1972, the franchise relocated to Toronto in 1973 and played home games at Varsity Arena and later Maple Leaf Gardens.
