From 1972 until 1979, disco lovers could dance to the hits at Uncle Sam’s disco club located at First Avenue and Seventh Street in downtown Minneapolis. This unique building was once a Greyhound bus station and a live music venue called The Depot. The club would change its name to Sam’s and then became First Avenue.
